Our Blogging Tools

I often wonder what tools other Bloggers use to produce their content. Obviously, since you are reading this, you are wondering the same thing about us, so I put together this list for you. These are the actual tools we use to create our blog and run it like a business.

Some of the links below are affiliate links, which means that if you choose to make a purchase, we will earn a commission. This commission comes at no additional cost to you. I recommend them because they are helpful and useful, not because of the small commissions we make if you decide to buy something. Please do not spend any money on these products unless you feel you need them or that they will help you achieve your goals.

BlueHost – We have used BlueHost to host our websites since 2015 because they make it incredibly easy to set up a website with and their customer service rocks. You can call and talk to a real person who will walk you through any problems you are having.

Not only are they extremely helpful they are fairly priced! We love using them.

Divi by Elegant Themes – We use Divi by Elegant Themes on this website.  One of its key features is the drag and drop page builders which makes building great looking pages very easy.  They also provide a ton of premade layouts which you can use to set up your website.

If you are looking for a theme definitely check out Divi by Elegant Themes.

Convert Kit – I converted to ConvertKit from Mail Chimp because ConvertKit makes managing your email list and setting up autoresponders so easy and user-friendly. Segmenting my email subscribers into groups so that they get content specific to their individual needs has never been more simple.

I highly recommend using ConvertKit for your email list building.

Teachable – I used Teachable to build my online course, YouTube Made Easy. Teachable is easy to use, powerful, and you don’t need to know any difficult coding to set up your course and connect your payment information. One of the best things about it is that you can set up and start selling your first course for free!

If you are thinking of creating an online course, you should definitely check out Teachable

MacBook Pro – The MacBook Pro is thin, light, and durable enough to take everywhere you go and powerful enough to do everything once you get there. I’ve been using this MacBook Pro since July 2017 and it’s still going strong. I’m impressed. Fastest editing laptop I have had so far.

Seagate 1 TB Portable External Hard Drive – Video and pictures take up a lot of hard drive space. I have been using Seagate portable external hard drives for years to store my video files and keep my Mac backed up. They just work!

I hope you found this guide helpful. If you did why not share it with your friends on Facebook or Twitter? That would be totally awesome and I’ll give you a virtual high five for it!

Hope you have a really great day and keepsm:)ing!
