Are you trying to pick out the perfect Mother’s Day gift? Let me help by sharing with you some of my ideas! These are gifts that I personally would enjoy receiving that are both practical and fun!

Your Homestead Girl will be able to use these gifts in her kitchen, in the garden, around the homestead, and more. I hope that my list of 21 gift ideas for Mother’s Day will make your shopping a little easier this year!

IN THE KITCHEN. Women in general spend a lot of time in the kitchen and we like gadgets that function properly and make our lives easier. In my opinion these 5 kitchen gift ideas would make any mom happy to receive them.

  • Insulated Coffee Press. Does she drink coffee? Check out this stainless steel insulated coffee press! We have been drinking pressed coffee for many years now but don’t have an insulated press. This press will keep her coffee hot so that she won’t have to run to the microwave to reheat it. Definitely on my wish list. It comes in many fun colors and 4 different sizes to choose from.
  • Cast Iron. I don’t think that you can go wrong buying cast iron as a gift for Mother’s Day. There are so many fun pans to try out as well as recipe books and care products. My two favorites right now are this 8-inch skillet and this 10-inch pre-seasoned griddle. Perfect for making eggs in!
  • KitchenAid. I’ve never owned a mixer this fancy, but they are SUPER popular among women. It’s a multi-tool for her kitchen! They come in a ton of colors so there’s sure to be one that she will love!
  • YETI Rambler Mug. I use my YETI insulated mug EVERYDAY! It keeps my coffee hot and fresh while we are working on our build projects. I have the Seafoam color but they come in a variety of colors. Of course she can use it for any hot beverage not just coffee.
  • Kitchen Knife Set. This knife set is seriously so cool! It comes with a variety of knives including a sharpening steel and shears. Another thing that she will love is that all her knives will be stored in a pretty hardwood block. Win, Win!

PAMPER HER. Your Homestead Girl works hard and if she’s like me she spends a lot of time out in the elements. She will appreciate and love a gift that takes care her skin and makes her feel beautiful!

  • Sonja Botanicals. All organic and chemical free ingredients. I LOVE these products! This Mother’s Day make her feel super special and beautiful by pampering her with a Love my skin “Starter Package”. As women we don’t often splurge on ourselves, so this gesture will be very appreciated. I also highly recommend buying her Majafirm and  ALA Eye and Neck Lifting Creme. Check my name “Julie Johnson” as your consultant at check out. She’s gonna love this present!

FIX IT. I take pride in being able to work around our homestead and a lot of that ability is due to having the right tools. Here is a list of 3 tools that I recommend you consider purchasing so that she can do the jobs she wants to do without hassle.

  • Dewalt Chainsaw Kit. This chainsaw has quickly become a favorite in our family! It’s light weight and the batteries last a long time. Very low maintenance. This saw will make doing clearing and limbing very easy for her around her homestead because she won’t have to worry about cords or gas. Just clip a battery in and off she goes!
  • Ryobi Tool Set. So many tools in one kit! Buy her this kit which comes with a contractors bag and she’ll be less likely to get into your tools! LOL! This kit comes with 2 batteries and 1 charger. We have been using Ryobi on our house build and have found them to be great tools.
  • Multitool. This Leatherman comes in Black or Stainless Steel. This is a great gift for her to carry in her purse or keep in a drawer in the house. It will help her out with small projects by giving her a quick solution without searching for a tool.

CHICKEN MAMA. Do you have a Chicken Mama that you’re shopping for? Look no further because this automatic chicken door will be the perfect Mother’s Day gift.

  • Automatic Chicken Door. I LOVE our automatic chicken door! LOVE LOVE LOVE! It is super simple to program when I want it to open in the morning and close at night. It gives me comfort knowing that my chickens are locked in for the night safe from predators because it locks in its closed position. This is terrific gift for Mother’s Day!

GETTING DIRTY. May is a big gardening time of the year. Why not give a Mother’s Day gift that lets her be outside and enjoy the springtime.

  • Sloggers. I don’t own these but sure would like to! These waterproof boots are simple to slip on and off which makes keeping our floors cleaner! Besides being very practical they come in some very fun colors and designs. Sloggers come in patterns with chickens, horses, pigs, cows, goats, and more on them! This is a fun present to give her this year!
